The forum is open to all parents and students, and will be held at 7 p.m. at Congregation Gates of Heaven, 852 Ashmore Ave., Schenectady.
There is no religious component to the event. It is part of a series forums on topics that are important to children and families being presented this year through the partnership of the school district, Father Bob Longobucco, Rabbi Matt Cutler, Reverend Scott DeBlock, and the Niskayuna Community Action Program (N-CAP).
"Bully" is a 2011 documentary film about bullying in U.S. schools. Directed by Lee Hirsch, the film follows the lives of five students who face bullying on a daily basis. It captures a growing movement among parents and youths to change how bullying is handled in schools, in communities and in society as a whole.
