NHS Film Students to have works featured at prominent upstate festival

Congratulations to the following Niskayuna High School Film Students who have had their films accepted into the 6th Annual People's Pixel Project:

  • James Azzaretti - A College Try
  • Alta Fox - Forget Me Not
  • Calvin O'Connor - A Noteworthy Production
  • Owen Goldstoff - Lost Dog
  • Metin Ozisik - Grand Bazaar
  • Calvin O'Connor and Metin Ozisik - Just Shoe It
  • Jacob Wick - Take a Hint

Of the 18 films selected to be screened as part of this year's festival, seven were from Niskayuna High School.

The Peoples Pixel Project was created to provide live audience exposure to professional and emerging videographers and to foster local interest and growth in the medium. The Lake George Arts Project will host its 6th Annual PPP video shorts festival at the Crandall Library in Glens Falls, NY on March 29, 2015, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Our students' inclusion in this festival is particularly notable as the competition is not just for high school students but is open to filmmakers of all ages - including professionals working in the field.
