A Niskayuna Central School District continued on Tuesday evening, June 9, as this year's retirees were recognized with words of gratitude and appreciation prior to the Board meeting. School and district leaders offered remarks for each retiree and congratulated them for their contributions to our students, our schools, and our community.

Superintendent Cosimo Tangorra, Jr. and Board President Patricia Lanotte told them that their efforts have made Niskayuna the special district that it is.

"We have such gratitude for everything you have done for our district, especially our students, Mrs. Lanotte told the retirees. "We are profoundly grateful and we wish you all the happiness and peace and joy in retirement and in whatever you choose to do.

Retirees were given a district collage and a proclamation from state legislators. Retirees sign the district's service register.

We thank the 16 retirees, listed here, for their incredible contributions to our district over many years.
