Students among the 80 million participants in global 'Hour of Code'

Students at many schools across the district took part in the global "Hour of Code" initiative in December. This is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics. According to the Hour of Code website, 82.6 million-plus people across the world have given it a try, from Glencliff kindergarten students to President Obama to fifth graders at Hillside, Niskayuna High School students, and students at both district middle schools.
