Dear Niskayuna Families,
I’m pleased to announce the recent appointment of Andrea Marques-Clarke, who will be succeeding Jessie Richards as Director of Secondary Special Education. Richards accepted a position at Watervliet Central School District over the summer.
Marques-Clarke brings 30 years of experience in the field of special education to our district. She currently serves as an Academy Principal at the City School District of Albany, where, among many accomplishments, she led the growth and successful progress of the Career and Technical Education courses at Albany High School.
Please join me in extending her a warm welcome when she begins on November 9.
