About the Board of Education
The Niskayuna Board of Education is a seven-member, all-volunteer board elected by the community that is responsible for the governance of the school district. There are also non-voting student representatives from the junior and senior class in order to incorporate student perspectives directly into the Board’s work.

Meeting Schedule
The Board typically meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month, with other meetings scheduled as needed. Access this year’s meeting schedule.
Meeting Agendas, Minutes and Materials: BoardDocs
The Board uses an online meeting document portal called BoardDocs for meeting agendas, materials and minutes. Supporting for each meeting are generally available on BoardDocs on the Monday before the meeting. BoardDocs also contains minutes of past meetings.

Audit Committee
The mission of the Niskayuna Central School District Audit Committee is to provide independent advice, assistance, and and recommendations to the Board in the oversight of the internal and external audit functions of the district. Learn more about the committee and access documents
