The annual school district budget shall reflect the Board of Education’s objectives for the education of the children of the district. It shall be organized and planned to provide adequate funding for each program expenditure and to provide information about the financial needs of anticipated program developments. It shall not exceed the projected financial resources of the district.
The Superintendent of Schools, with input from stakeholders, including principals and directors, shall develop a preliminary budget to be submitted to the board for its consideration and modification.
The superintendent shall present a recommended budget to the board, and the board shall adopt a final budget to be presented to the voters in May.
