Niskayuna High School’s Unified Sports Program is the only school from New York state to make ESPN’s Northeast Honor Roll!
Niskayuna Unified Coaches Jessica Stanton and Meg Farquharson shared this statement:
“We are honored to accept such recognition on behalf of the work all of our students have done to make our high school a more inclusive place. Such change has been seen in our halls, special area classrooms, alleys and courts.
Unified sport was created to form partner/athlete relationships among students of all abilities. Achieving National Banner status recognizes the establishment of our unified opportunities including Unified Cheer, Unified Basketball, Unified Bowling, Unified Physical Education, Nisky Friends, and All Star athletes. These clubs and programs are representative of our inclusive student leadership.”
