The Niskayuna Friends of Music is hosting it’s first ever “Studentiade.”
The event, which plays on the idea of a Schubertiade (an event held to celebrate the music of Franz Schubert), will feature music, art, poetry, history, world language and the NY STEAM Bus followed by an Austrian-themed reception.

Join us for a night of student, faculty and alumni performances!
This event started as a much smaller project, but then became even more student centered and now encompasses many cross-curricular connections.
Those in attendance will enjoy Concert Chorale, a woodwind quintet, brass quartet, string quintet, soloists, poetry in German and English, historical presentations, and more! Of course, the event will also feature special guests, the Musicians of Ma’alwyck.
