Dear NHS Juniors, Sophomores and Families,
This year we will be registering for the Oct. 16th PSAT using a Google Form and the K-12 Payment Center. This process will be open from Monday, September 13th to Friday, Sept. 24th. PSAT registration will be offered to Juniors on a first come, first serve basis from Sept. 13-Sept. 20th. Sophomores will be able to register from Sept. 21- Sept 24th. Juniors are being given first priority given that they were not able to take the exam as Sophomores.
Here is how registration will work:
The PSAT Registration Google Form will become available on September 13th. Students should login using their Niskayuna Google account and register via this form. Please have your student ID number available when you register.
After registration closes, we will assign the $24 registration fee to the student in the K12PaymentCenter system. The system also applies a $1.95 fee for the transaction. K12PaymentCenter is the school meal account system. It also has the capability to collect fees in instances like this.
If you have not already created a K12PaymentCenter account, you will need to do so in order to pay for the PSAT. Visit https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/, click “Sign Up!”, find the Niskayuna Central School District and enter the required information using their 4 or 5 digit student ID (please disregard instructions to use an 8 or 9 digit number).You may want to create the account ahead of time. Families will need to submit payment no later than October 1st.
Students who complete the registration and payment process will receive additional information about arrival time, check in and safety procedures by Oct. 8th. Please keep in mind that there may be last minute changes due to COVID safety concerns.
