Free and Reduced Price Meals Information

Children of families that meet certain income eligibility guidelines may qualify for free or reduced price meals. Families can apply at any time. Please note: an application result from Titan, not LINQ Connect will be emailed to you.

    LINQ Connect Prepaid Meal Accounts

We use LINQ Connect to enable families to pay for school lunches and manage their child’s account online.

    LINQ Connect allows parents to:

    • Set low-balance reminders.
    • Set up automatic meal payments and transfer funds between students.
    • Create spending limits for the account.
    • Manage your account using the LINQ Connect app available in the Apple App store and Google Play.
    • View school lunch menus directly in the app.

To sign-up and access the online service, visit https://www.linqconnect.com/. From this site you can create an account and add money to your child’s school meal account. When creating your account for the first time, you will need your child’s name and birth date or student ID number.  You can find your student ID number in the PowerSchool Parent Portal on the Student Information page.

Please note that online payments made through Linq Connect assess a service fee. Families that do not wish to pay this fee can send a check to school with their child. The check should be in an envelope addressed to the school cafeteria, made out to “Niskayuna Central School District,” with the child’s name and “Meal Account” in the memo line.
