In the summer of 2021, the Board of Education began the search for the district’s next superintendent with a process that involves substantial community involvement. Capital Region BOCES District Superintendent Anita Murphy and BOCES Deputy District Superintendent Lauren Gemmill served as the search consultants guiding the Board through the process. The Board of Education gathered significant community input about the characteristics desired in the district’s next leader through a month-long community survey and a series of 16 stakeholder forums.
